Chrism Mass and Holy Week Masses:

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19, Bishop Bourgon canceled the Chrism Mass and the Holy Week Masses to the general public. These celebrations will be broadcast live from the Cathedral through our Facebook page:

Hours for Celebrations:

Chrism Mass: Monday April 6 at 7 p.m.

Holy Thursday: Mass of the Lord’s Supper: 7:15pm

Good Friday: 3 p.m. for the passion narrative and 7:15 p.m. for the Way of the Cross

Holy Saturday: Mass at 7:15 p.m.

Easter Sunday: Mass at 10 a.m.

Join us as we celebrate the Lord’s Passion and Resurrection and as we pray for our world in this difficult times. My blessings are with you and your families during this time. These celebrations will be bilingual.

As you know, everything is changing rapidly and new clearer directives from the Porcupine Health Unit have been issued concerning churches. Our diocese is therefore following these new directives concerning Masses and all gatherings.  As of today’s date ALL MASSES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
